Maths this year

This year was my first year at high school and math has been fun lots of new parts of maths like pi being 3.14 and so on as well as thing about circles. But that the most of it. It's been a new challenge and it been fun to do a new challenger to speak.

My OPINION paragraph

Are the 100% PURE NZ tourist videos 100% Factual? I believe the 100% PURE NZ tourist videos are have basic mistakes in the videos that could become a problem and nothing more Because they show bad thing like drinking the water and explore anywhere and there a no towns and it can be quite dangerous like E coli and algal bloom that can kill people. This shows that the 100% nz logo and video needs to be changed to help and protect people that come to New Zealand and New zealanders that live here can know that something are not good to for you or are just dangerous. So that is my final point that it just needs to slightly change to be more safe for Me, you and everybody else to stay safe and away from danger to not tern New zealand into a hell hole.

 Designing my Mars Lander

This a new and cool design made by us to be more stable and be able to go over most terrain the 5 wheel’s create more stability than 4 or less. Also it is a work in progress can’t wait to see it get finished!we changed the design so it all terrain able to be overcome by the design, good shock absorption and strong joint placement. Then we made a prototype that had two rotating back wheels, Armour like cockpit, 2 stationery wheels, Good strong fitting body.In the ed we made decent prototype, it had all the feature we need such as wheels and a main base. it protected the Sphero and the Sphero made it work, Yet the prototype was a bit bulky and the wheels were stiff making the Sphero not work to it's full potential. Also we did know how to use the sphero that well.

Code of combat/Sphero coding

So after the mars lander we went on to coding like code of combat were the teacher put us on a quest to use our brain and newly learned coding skill's. Like loop's, moment, attack, and speech. We then had fun with fighting against each other trying to get to the top of our game in coding.

But after that we started coding the sphero to move left, right, forward and backward and LED control.

This was the last thing we used that include everything we had and more as well as thing's about color and make a map. But it required you to work as a team to complete the work and pass aswell as be super fun and competitive.

Art assessment

So in art we have been making so art starting with shading a spherical object, a rectangle object, a cube, and a pyramid.

But later in art we went on to drawing some Maori art. Were i choice a hook  design and i made the design below. That is nice touch on what i have done.

To day we leave to go to this new safe haven called New Zealand. So we are going to New Zealand to leave tomorrow. But it will be hard to leave you at such a hard time. As the jobs have all disappeared in town so i have gone to find new zealand safe haven. So i wish you all the good luck.

I have been on the this ship for 2 or 3 months i lost count after the storm that knocked our ship off course and lot’s of worker on the top deck died and i was latter promoted to lead engineer and one of the medics on my level because of my past in engineering and st John is paying off and i hope to see you soon.

We just made it to land but i think it’s new zealand but how would i know i've never been so how would i know we could be in the bermuda triangle as much as i care if i can get food, water and shelter. But me and the other are off to find help to repair the boat so i send a letter back we we do.

Last term we found out a lot about our selves and new Zealand religion and how so thing that we have as our goals can relate to other religion.

Like the piece of art you can think of what it means in your own way but mine way i think of it (that do not have to believe) is this art is like the treaty of Waitangi in the fact that the as you can see it two different art types connecting in the middle.

Plus some of the work we did last term was about us as new Zealand identity.

9MG English: Term One

This term we have been learning all about what is the hero cycle.

The hero cycle can be called the hero's journey and it mean the same thing it is the the journey to becoming a hero

As well as hero cycle. we have been doing a thing like the big questions and success ticket.

The big question is were every start if class we do something like free writing or some type of writing with a time limit of 5 minutes on the board that looks like this

and when it is up you stop what you are doing and if you want show every one what you have done.

The success ticket is were you evaluate what you have done and how well you have done. Then every one gets a ticket and she picks a random number and they get to pick a item out of her prize draw.

This term was great and one of my most proud of peaces of work is this... LINK it was good to be able to show who my hero is and how i can show and tell why she is my hero and others.It was interesting read all about her history

On Monday me and all the other year nine's went to Kumara were we got to know the history of Kumara. We went to the big rock called Londonderry and how when it fell down the hill it did not kill anyone and roomers say it stopped all the clock's stopped. We found out all about the people of the town's. It was good to find out about the majority of kumara history.
